Hello. This is R.Shanmuga Priyan from Madurai. Im a PG graduate. I completed my UG degree in B.Sc. Film making and TV production at Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai. Then proceeded with the PG degree in M.Sc VisCom in the same college.
During my school days, I decided to start a business in PA system and Event Management. After finishing my schooling, during my UG period, I approached the District Industry Centre (DIC), and got a loan amount of Rs.3 lakh under the scheme called PMYGP from Syndicate bank, Madurai. My college’s “Entrepreneur development cell” has guided and provided me all the help, since I started my business plan.
At the time of PG, I decided to start up Internet service business of my own. At that moment, central govt has announced the scheme called, “Digital India” and state govt announced FTTH (Fiber to the Home). Then I strongly decided to start a ISP (Internet Service Provider) business to initiate in rural areas in and around Madurai.
From the beginning I was very clean and clear in well about governing my business. I have decided to form a company, and I decided to Incorporate my company as Private Limited. On 22nd August of 2016, under the Companies Act 2013, I got the GST, PAN Number, Trademark for unique identification for my company thus, the “MRKR Communications” has been started.
For setting up this business, I approached the DIC to gather the information about the NEEDS and the MUDRA YOJANA, introduced by the Hon. Prime Minister of India.

Later, the MSME (Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) offered me a free course for gaining some knowledge about ENTERPRENENURSHIP DEVELOPMENT, under the “NEEDS” scheme.
In spite of my college hours, my management has permitted me to attend the training classes for my business development and gave me guidance to develop my thoughts and ideas about my business.
After completing my training period, with the help of the DIC and MSME, With the knowledge about the MUDRA YOJANA , I approached the CANARA bank’s Tallakulam branch and requested a loan for my business. After considering my knowledge in the area where I wanted to set out the business, the branch manager sanctioned a collateral free loan amount of Rs.5.98 Lakhs to me under the MUDRA YOJANA.

Today, Im running a Internet service business in the Tallakulam area, providing Internet connections to the households and corporate offices in and around the areas of Madurai.
Im now earning around Rs.25,000 per month, and paying salaries to 3 people that I employed.
Now Im quite a role model to my society, family and for my friends. “This work pressure gives me enormous energy to proceed my further works.”
“I always wanted to be a job creator, not a job seeker”.
“I want to Grow,
I must Grow,
I will Grow.”
Well, that’s my motive.
